Introduction of subdivided notes and syncopation (dotted notes)
Reading and playing rhythms on traditional and non-traditional percussion instruments

Review of the Grand Staff and linear note-reading
Introduction to major and minor scales
Choral singing and sightsinging
Setting Composition Project from Unit 1 to pitches on the staff
